About Me

I am a qualified counsellor with a BACP-Accredited Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling. I am Registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I have worked for organisations offering counselling to clients with a wide range of issues, including bereavement counselling at St. Wilfrid’s Hospice, and the Survivors of Suicide and Youth Service at Sussex Community Counselling. I’ve also undertaken specialist training to support my work with survivors of sexual and domestic abuse.

My extensive experience as a Speech and Language Therapist also equips me to work with clients with a range of communication needs, including language impairment and Autism.

I hold a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Certificate, and full indemnity insurance. I am also registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a Data Controller.

Professional Background

Since 2001 I have been a registered Speech & Language Therapist, and in this capacity I work in the NHS with a clinical specialism in Autism and social communication difficulties. I am registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
