As a Humanistic counsellor I hold to the belief that we are all capable of reaching greater levels of insight and personal growth, and I place my clients at the centre of my work. And as an Integrative counsellor, I am able to draw upon the core models of my training – Person Centred, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis – and blend these approaches differently, according to the needs of each of my clients. I value, and am constantly fascinated by, the differences between us all, and so, in counselling, there can be no ‘one size fits all’ approach. Beyond methodology, though, the foundation and guiding principle of my work lies in the quality of the therapeutic relationship formed between myself and my client.
